Security 

Your Website Security is Important and we understand the importance of your data. That's why Fast Church Websites utilize contracted servers that are supported by a SAS70 certified world-class infrastructure engineered from the ground up to support just about any kind of contingency.  We address all forms of potential interruptions. From a localized power failure to a major earthquake, all it takes to bring down your website is a lack of preparation.

Redundant telecommunications paths into the local fiber optics infrastructure are buried around contracted Data Center. If a cable is cut or an earthquake disrupts fiber on one side of the building, a redundant path exists on the other side. Tier 1 connections to the Internet backbone are available through multiple Gigabyte Ethernet connections and multiple OC-3 lines with scalability to OC-48 and beyond. We are peered with AT&T, XO, Global Crossing, Level 3, and ELI. In addition, a private microwave communications network provides options for backup transmission. All these things ensure premium bandwidth and the highest availability possible for each of our clients.

Monitoring: Fast Church Websites operates under contract with facilities that support host-based virus protection, firewalls, real-time security alerting using intrusion detection scanners (IDS), and 24 hour monitoring from a Network Operations Center (NOC). Any potentially malicious activity can be curbed well before it happens.

Electrical power comes into the data center through a local power grid and is backed up by a battery supply capable of powering the building for approximately 15 minutes. This is far more time than the 90 seconds needed for the 750-kilovolt Caterpillar generators to come online. An underground diesel fuel tank is located on the premises with enough fuel to run the data center at full power for three to five days. Equipment requiring 208V/110V is supported by power distribution units strategically located in the data center. Regular testing of all power and backup units is performed at weekly intervals. Our Data Center also has rooftop grounding rods for resistance to lighting strikes.

All of this may seem a bit technical but again it's our attention to detail that makes Fast Church Websites very different from the competition.  Data security and quality performance standards that go above current need do make a difference.  We could have cut costs by using less expensive facilities for our servers and data management.  We feel that a God has led us to be prepared to keep your church online no matter what the challenge!
